blog huh?
not sure why i feel the need to do the blog thing now...it is sooooo 2002, but alas, its my whim and i'm fairly confident it shall not affect the innocent.

at the moment, just procrastinating...moved into the new place about a month ago, and i'm still climbing over boxes to get around. haven't much found the motivation to do the work. besides, playing with the godforsaken computer seems far more important. if i keep moving at this pace, every object will have a home sometime around christmas...pretty good on my personal scale, i'd say...

i officially have 7 days of doing nothing before starting the new job at bell mobility...plans in that time include:

• studying up on bells products and corporate structure, so i don't walk in there feeling like a complete noob.
• playing 'Typing of the Dead" to bring my typing speed back up for the new gig...TOTD appears to be a typing tutor/game where zombies die when mistakes aren't made. Mario teaches typing got me up to 80 wpm way back when, so hopefully this will do the trick in the absence of Mario.
• finish moving boxes out of main living space, into the loft and in storage above the doorway.
• reinstalling winblows on both machines...might as well do it while i have the time. i really must have the tv wonder working on the slave once i'm working, or i'll never ever get to watch tv...working hours will prevent me from watching prime time, even with timeshifting...must be able to cap survivor and the like.

today i installed an rss ticker for my torrent bits updates...so far seems okay, but it only allows one custom feed, so i must dig some more to find a more appropriate app...i want a few of them to tick away...this one is enewsbar 2.01 and is available here
