liptap service...
spent the night watching 911 videos from cbc...chatting with the people and drinking too much coffee...good thing i'm not dooming tonight, or i'd be a mess. Once again, oldversion.com has saved the day by providing high quality versions of old software...hot damn i say. found keith his crazy chat tooled icq 2000b...
managed to add a comment tool to this here blog...tried to get text america code to work, but it puked in my face like the medialibrary thing did. not sure what i'm doing wrong...probably best, or i'd end up with more tools than content, and thats just defeating the purpose of blogging...though my link list is already becoming very handy and i can very much see myself using my own blog as a portal...hmmm portal...i'm so smart. I bet noone anywhere has ever thought of that...duh
friday nights router firmware update turned out to be kinda funky in that it deleted absolutely every port forwarded, changed the ip for the router and the rest of the network and just plain old forgot it was ever my router...crazy thing. no wonder i couldn't upload torrents.
i talked to Dom about the whole american voting experience...he just saw farhenheit 911 last night...such a shame he's smart and hated bush before...i would love to talk to an american that loved bush before seeing it...and asking them how they could even think about voting for the guy again....i can't believe the american laws don't protect their own people from conflict of interest....Corporations have conflict of interest policies...I couldn't work for rogers paging and telus communications at the same time, in totally unrelated fields...they made sure of it...how on earth can a man who's financial interests are based in the middle east be involved in foreign policy or hell, presidency of the united states? maybe the u.s. government needs to talk to a major corporation or two and bring its HR policies into this century...silly kids. michael moore is groovy, one day gonna tell him the story of Rogers Cable and its contracters...he's made movies about people treated better than rogers install minions. but alas, that is a story for another day...
